Assalamualaikum Stylistas of Abaya Suraya!
This young lady here is another young Hajjah like me and it was really nice working with me. =)
I call her Linda and it was no wonder when I checked out her personal style it seems familiar, because she is a graduate for Arabic Language from the same university as mine International Islamic University Malaysia (UIAM). I mean almost everybody I know tells me that the fashion appearance of UIA students could be detected from the ways we wear our hijab and clothes, which are very much influenced from the middle-east styles. =)
Currently Linda works at a bank and also pursuing for her Masters in Business Administration at Universiti Sains Malaysia. On the day of this photoshoot, just as soon as she finished her night lecture at 11 p.m. she departed to Kuala Lumpur from Penang by bus to arrive at the NSTP Building at 7 a.m.
That is a normal scenario for someone who is in a competition. Oh yes, Linda represents Pertubuhan Talasemia Pulau Pinang which concerns on the well-being of talasemia patients there. Talasemia patients are no strangers to her because her mother works as a nurse for the talasemia patients at the Hospital Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang, so the pain and suffering of these patients are closely related to her heart.
* Aslinda was announced as the over-all Champion of this competition in the finale where she bagged RM 5000 and goodies from the sponsors for herself and most importantly RM 10,000 for Pertubuhan Talasemia Pulau Pinang which she represented.
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOU LINDA!
Although you are now a student in USM, another make-up artiste for this programme, Fida (another graduate from UIAM) and I feel like this is a gift for UIAM as well =) Your beautiful heart and personality, as well as your eloquency and intelligence in answering the issues about talasemia patients and the current issue of Sultan Perak really made you deserve to be a Champion.
Well done girl! =)

Assalamualaikum Stylistas of Abaya Suraya!
Sue memanggilnya Linda dan patutlah apabila Sue melihat gaya pemakaiaannya Sue merasakan ia seperti biasa dilihat, rupat-rupanya beliau seorang graduan jurusan Bahasa Arab dari universiti yang sama dengan Sue, iaitu Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM). Maksud Sue hampir semua orang Sue kenali dapat mengenali gaya pemakaian hijab dan pakaian pelajar-pelajar UIA yang cenderung dipengaruhi gaya fesyen Timur Tengah. =)
Well done girl! =)
