Assalamualaikum Stylistas of Abaya Suraya!
Tonight after the wedding reception, the Bride's family held a family gathering cum BBQ Party. Since the event was smaller, my client wanted her face to rest a bit by not wearing fake eyelashes. She still had to do proper make-up although it was only a family gathering, since her husband insisted her to dress up for each and every event, and he chose mostly everything from the apparel to the make-up. Isn't she lucky? =)
As for tonight's event their theme was Western Man & Wife and while her husband wore a shirt and formal jacket, she wore a princess-like white dress with a can-can complete with net veil. I just love to see the way her husband pampered her, you know I really love when a man committed to play a role in making his wife beautiful.
The night initiated with a cake-cutting session but it was amusing when the children instead sang the Happy Birthday song. It was getting more hilarious since the elder members of the family really created a riot during the presents-opening session. The closest family members even made some serious jokes by giving them really weird gifts such as Maggi instant noodles, Petai, a toy machine gun and even a toy Ultraman with prolonged, hilarious letters explaining the rationale of each gift. Truly, the night was a fun and memorable one for their family. =)

Malam ini selepas Majlis Persandingan, keluarga Pengantin Perempuan telah mengadakan perkumpulan keluarga juga makan-makan BBQ. Memandangkan majlis ini lebih kecil, pelanggan Sue mahu wajahnya berehat dengan tidak mengenakan bulu mata palsu. Sue masih perlu menghasilkan solekan yang sesuai dan sempurna kerana walaupun ini cuma perkumpulan anak-beranak, tetapi suaminya tetap mahukan mereka bergaya sempurna untuk setiap sesi, dan beliaulah yang memilih hampir segalanya dari pakaian hingga ke solekan. Bukankah isterinya bertuah? =)
Untuk majlis malam ini temanya ialah Suami Isteri ala Barat haha, sementara si suami mengenakan kemeja dan jaket rasmi, beliau bergaya bak seorang Sang Puteri dengan memakai dress putih labuh lengkap dengan can-can yang mengembangkan skirt juga selendang net. Sue amat menyukai cara suaminya memanjakannya, anda tahu bagaimana Sue amat menyukai apabila si suami memainkan peranan untuk mencantikkan isterinya.
Malam itu bermula dengan sesi memotong kek tetapi ia melucukan apabila kanak-kanak di situ menyanyikan lagu Selamat Harijadi pula. Keadaan bertambah kecoh dan menggelikan hati apabila hadiah-hadiah mula dibuka. Ahli-ahli keluarga terdekat membuat pelbagai jenaka sampai kami ketawa pecah perut dengan memberikan hadiah-hadiah yang pelik seperti Mee Segera Maggi, Petai, patung mainan Ultraman, dengan surat-surat panjang menjelaskan rasional untuk hadiah-hadiah tersebut. Sesunguhnya, malam itu malam yang menggembirakan juga akan dikenang selalu oleh keluarga mereka.
