Engagement Ceremony Make-up (Solekan Majlis Pertunangan) @ Taman Sungai Kantan, Kajang, Selangor.

This make-up was for an engagement ceremony of a client in Taman Sungai Kantan, Kajang. She booked me a few days before her engagement ceremony with a IIUM graduate. It was a truly beautiful ceremony, where the decorations were made by her uncle who is the infamous wedding planner, Razak Ahmad from Flora Etc whom worked for events of many Hollywood celebrities, among them were Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Oprah Winfrey. Many relatives and friends came to witness the joyous event for both her and her fiancé. It was such a coincidence, that she was engaged to my father's bestfriend's son, which I only knew when I accompanied my father to their wedding. =)

Solekan ini ialah untuk pelanggan Sue di Taman Sungai Kantan, Kajang. Beliau menempah perkhidmatan Sue beberapa hari sebelum hari pertunangannya dengan seorang graduan UIA. Ia merupakan majlis yang begitu indah, di mana hiasan disiapkan oleh perancang perkahwinan terkenal, Razak Ahmad dari Flora etc yang pernah bekerja untuk majlis-majlis para selebriti Hollywood seperti Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz & Oprah Winfrey. Ramai saudara-mara dan sahabat-handai yang hadir untuk meraikan majlis yang menggembirakan ini. Secara kebetulan, rupanya beliau bertunang dengan anak kepada sahabat baik Ayah Sue sendiri, di mana cuma Sue ketahui apabila menemani Ayah menghadiri majlis perkahwinan mereka. =)

Function/Night Make-up (Solekan Majlis/Malam) for TESCO Make-up Products Campaign @ Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur.

I went to an advertising company hired by TESCO since TESCO wanted to hire me as their make-up artiste for the launching of their new branches all over Malaysia. I was there to demonstrate my make-up skills since TESCO wanted to do free make-over for their customers using their own make-up line called It's All About Face. 

However after negotiations, although it was a great deal for me as a new make-up artiste, I had to refuse since all the travelling schedule clashed with my classes at UIA. No matter what, the make-up below was fully created using the products from It's All About Face, and I must say for a make-up brand which is from an affordable price range, their products are pretty good. The foundation gives a smooth, natural effect and I love their shimmery eye shadows and eye shadow sticks.

Sue dipanggil untuk ke sebuah syarikat pengiklanan yang ditugaskan oleh TESCO kerana TESCO mahukan Sue menjadi jurusolek untuk pelancaran cawangan-cawangan terbaru mereka di seluruh Malaysia. Sue di sana untuk mendemonstrasikan teknik solekan Sue kerana TESCO mahu memberi solekan percuma untuk para pelanggan mereka menggunakan jenama alat solek mereka sendiri iaitu It's All About Face. 

Walaubagaimanapun setelah perbincangan, walaupun ia peluang yang bagus untuk Sue sebagai seorang jurusolek baru, namun Sue terpaksa menolaknya kerana jadual kembara ke seluruh Malaysia tersebut bercanggah dengan jadual kelas Sue di UIA. Walaubagaimanapun, solekan di bawah dihasilkan sepenuhnya menggunakan produk  No matter what, the make-up below was fully created using the products from It's All About Face, and I must say for a make-up brand which is from an affordable price range, their products are pretty good. Another Chinese client of mine, a graduating student of University College Sedaya International (UCSI) was attending her final Prom at Saloma Bistro, Ampang. The theme was 'Hawaiian' so she wanted a look for the beach. She is not so used of wearing make-up so she did not want it to be really thick. I tried to make her be a more beautiful version of herself, but try to keep it clean and light. Both her and her boyfriend were happy with the results. =)

Seorang lagi pelanggan Sue yang berbangsa Cina, merupakan seorang mahasiswi yang bergraduasi di Kolej Universiti Antarabangsa Sedaya(UCSI) mahu menghadiri majlis prom yang terakhir di Saloma Bistro, Ampang. Temanya ialah 'Hawaiian' maka beliau mahukan gaya ke pantai. Beliau tidak biasa mengenakan solekan jadi beliau tidak mahukan solekan yang tebal. Sue cuba menjadikannya lebih cantik, tapi masih cuba mengekalkan solekan yang bersih dan ringan. Beliau dan teman lelakinya sukakan hasilnya. =)

I am always excited to try on my make-up on a non-Malay client, and like this time, a Chinese client contacted me. This client of mine was initially interested to just have a trial function make-up, just for fun, with no intention to attend any function on that evening. However after the make-up was done, she said she would not waste the make-up by being at home so she decided to have a night out :D Nevertheless, it was really fun to have a long chat with her about almost everything during the make-up session as though as we were old friends. =)

Pelanggan ini pada awalnya cuma mahu suka-suka mencuba solekan majlis tanpa ada niat ke mana-mana, namun setelah disolek, beliau rasakan tidak patut membazirkan solekan tersebut dan terus mahu keluar pada malam itu. =D Walaubagaimanapun, Sue berasa amat seronok bersembang dengannya tentang pelbagai hal ibarat kami memang sahabat lama. =)

Four college mates were attending the dinner function of their college, Kolej Kediaman Ke-12 at Crown Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The theme was Contemporary Ethnic so they all really dressed up to have a gorgeous night out. The first young lady below, Farhana was my schoolmate in MRSM KKB  so it was an honour to do the make-up for her and her friends. Yes of course all the old high school gossips were updated with new ones as well, oops! :D

Empat teman sekolej ingin menghadiri majlis makan malam kolej mereka, Kolej Kediaman Ke-12 di Hotel Crown Plaza, Kuala Lumpur. Temanya ialah Etnik Kontemporari maka mereka ingin kelihatan anggun pada malam itu. Gadis pertama di bawah ini ialah teman sesekolah Sue di MRSM KKB maka ia merupakan penghormatan buat Sue untuk menyolek beliau dan teman-temannya. Ya gossip-gossip sekolah menengah juga dikemaskini dengan yang terkini, oops! =D
